Excalibur for Windows - After spotting an oncoming meteor that threatens to make surface life unlivable, the inhabitants of Earth decide to flee underground and build protected cities. Not everyone is able to evacuate in time and, unfortunately, casualties are widespread. Four hundred fifty years later, Salto emerges as the largest and most impressive of these underground cities with a population of millions. Society has developed and fostered three distinct socioeconomic classes, the most powerful of which are the Elysians. The leader of these Elysians, a man named Delavar, has invented and constructed a functioning time machine. He then sends his troops, the Kala Knights, back in time to steal the legendary Excalibur sword. The Kala Knights easily overcame King Arthur's Knights with their futuristic weaponry. They made off with the sword and returned without incident. The infamous wizard Merlin, furious at this course of events, sends his niece, Beth, into the future to recover the coveted sword.
